What to include in a house sale

We received the half a rainforest checklist today for what’s included in the house sale.
Our buyer is in rented so I wondered how appropriate it would be at this early stage to text him and ask if it’s worth us offering items for sale/included such as furniture curtains etc that won’t fit in our new house before we start on the forms?

But if you’re going to leave it anyway, why not just include them in the sale price?
we just left them eg made to measure blinds, light fittings etc seemed churlish to remove them or enter in to a debate about second hand cost of them in the whole scheme of things.

We knew that wherever we moved to the curtains probably wouldn’t fit as our 1970’s house has large windows and we were looking for a newer build. We always expected that we would leave behind carpets, curtains and light fittings. The double oven and hub is built in and we decided to leave the freezer that’s kept on the garage and the under counter fridge in the kitchen because where we are moving to they are leaving a Fridge freezer. We are just taking washing machine and tumble drier with us.

we have sold to FTB so we know they were extremely grateful to have these items left behind.

If you have furniture you don’t want to take with you then of course you can ask if they’d like to make an offer but they may not want the items. Worth an ask though
