Kitchen remodel 6 months ago and now have problems with lighting

As per title. Our kitchen was remodelled in summer 2022. Part of the work was electrics and lighting arranged by our fitter with another tradesperson (electrician). Paid electrician directly and it was £1.5k so not a small job.

We've had problems with flashing light fittings for the past 3 months (led units). I've tried to contact the electrician directly but no reply. He may have gone out of business. I've tried to contact the original fitter with no luck.

What are my options?

It could be several things. Fluctuating supply, loose connection etc.
I'm not an electrician.

Maybe someone else will know about how to get the electrician to fix it.

If you can't get hold of the original electrician then the only option is to get a different electrician out?

Get recommendations on a new electrician and ask one out for a look and a quote to fix whatever’s wrong.

It may not be the actual lights as such but perhaps the new extension has added too much electrical charge to the existing box - you might need extra allowances put in, we had a similar issue. Fairly simple job. (Sorry don’t know all the right terminology but essentially they needed to take out one of the switches and put a new higher voltage one in the main fuse box).

Are they on a dimmer? We had a flashing light in our kitchen after a remodel and eventually had the dimmer replaced with a normal switch. We don’t miss it and it fixed the flashing.
