So excited, going to view what looks as though it could be 'the house' and I so want me and DH to like it.

We've just decided to sell our bungalow and there's a house for sale which is really pretty in RL. We're going to see it tomorrow and I know i'm going to be soooo disappointed if me or DH doesn't like the inside. I've already decided that its probable we'll want to put in a new kitchen, bathroom, carpets and obviously redecorate. I just want to love it inside as much as I do outside. I really shouldn't get my hopes up should I?

if it was me I'd be hoping to was awful inside so i could justify ripping everything out and having it the way I wanted.....that's just because i'm a control freak though .

as long as you can look through any awfulness, and have the budget...go for it

Thanks. We have the budget but its more than DH wants to spend. He wants a big house but is reluctant to pay for it, despite the fact its going to be our house until the kids have left home etc. Tight fisted devil.

Dizzy - have you got my husband??? We are looking to move later this year (we are mid putting finishing touches to ours) and despite knowing what the market is round here he is still in denial!!!

Best of luck, remember you can move walls, doors, re-arrange, use rooms differently than the vendor does. Be realistic, take a compass and a tape measure and a notepad.
