Help with blinds for bifold doors and a velux window

Hi, grateful for any suggestions and/or recommendations.

We have a 3-paned bifold door in our kitchen and I'd like to find some blinds to fit the window panes. I suspect that what I would really like doesn't actually exist but, here goes...

Are there blinds that are fairly lightweight but also offer some thermal protection? I'm thinking more for style in the summer, i.e. not having 3 large open panes, but that are also useful in the winter for providing a bit of insulation against the cold. Do such things exist?

And the same kitchen also has a velux window. I think we need something on both the outside (to shade the sun in summer) and inside (decorative). Where would I look for these?

Thanks for any help offered!

I think for your bifold doors something like this would be good. perfect fit they should offer some thermal help. We have the perfect fit but with venetian blinds. There are a few perfect fit options that might be good for you. Afraid I can't help with velux, but I'm sure there is something on one of these type of sites.

I'm in the same boat and struggling as our doors are pretty tall, so beyond the maximum drop of a lot of the ranges out there, and we have six panels, so it looks like it's going to cost a fortune - either that or I just put up normal curtains, which just look ugly IMO.

I used blinds2go for my velux. It's been on a good few years and still looks perfect.
