What internal doors 1950 house?

Any recommendations for a door that is in keeping with the 50's era please?

I'm looking at the 30's style of a panel at the top and then 3 down the door, but they are not quite the era. What is better?

Thanks!

I would guess the doors in my house are 50's or 60's, I stripped them back and they are lovely - like this:

I live in a 50s house which still has the original doors and they are four panel doors like the ones in the link above 😊

Agree with ladder panel like in the link.

Definitely those posted above. My nan had a post war built house with doors like those. They were white and not nearly as nice, but that design.

Amazing thanks, this is what I needed to know. Any suggestions of appropriate handles?

I've changed the original handles for black victorian style knobs, they suit the style IMO but are more annoying than a standard handle because the doors are old and not easy to open 😅. Probably work much better on a new door.

Meant to add mine are now white with black knobs.

Anything Shaker or DX (although this nudges back to a 30's style) would look a treat in a 50's house. Loads of options to mix it up with glazing etc.
