Damp patches in hallway

My Tenant has tonight sent me photos of our house showing 2 damp patches. See photos. The first one is near the front door (which was replaced a year ago) and the 2nd one is near the window in the hallway. I've no idea why itswetlike that or what is happening and how rectify. Any ideas? Thanks

we have developed a patch like that near our newish (4 years) window today in the torrential rain. I’m assuming it’s a Silicone issue so will have a look when it’s dry, water only needs the tiniest gap to get in.

is there a Down pipe by the door? If so is the drain blocked? Are the gutters clear and not leaking/overflowing?

Thanks for your suggestions. We are going to look at weekend so will check drains etc thanks.
