....... i am getting cold feet! What if it's not the right house for us, what if another, nicer house comes on the market!! Arrrggghhhh I'm in the spare room at the moment because my head is spinning so much I can't sleep!!!!!!

Go and have another look at it - in current market you could probably look a thousand times without putting in an offer. Take a hyper-critical friend and be very, very dispassionate. If you get tingly feeling despite all this, then put in offer.

Can't! We live in Cyprus!! We've put an offer in anyway, wait and see if it gets accepted! Feeling alot better about it all now

Sort of feeling hte same - we've only been for one viewing at the house we've put an offer in on. Can't believe we'd spend all that money after spending 15 minutes in the place!

I know it's an amazing amount of money when you start looking at houses isn't it.

Our offer was rejected

hold on McDreamy....play the waiting game....they are bound to grab an offer in the current market.....do you have to sell or are you chain free? Good luck vibes zooming across the island!!

McDreamy · 29/01/2008 17:35

Thanks Sunny, that's what DH is saying. We do have a house to sell, we have a second viewing on Saturday so fingers crossed!!

they may have rejected you because you haven't sold your own place yet, not the price - i wouldn't accept an offer from someone whose downward chain wasn't complete, let alone someone whose own house wasn't sold. check this with the agent immediately if you are not sure. concentrate on getting yours sold. If they only rejected you because of your position not the price, then if you sell they may accept your offer or an even lower one in the future

Maybe you are right although they did state before we made an offer that they need time as they haven't even started looking for a property yet.

Who knows, the funny thing neither DH or I are really gutted, disappointed but not gutted.
