How much does it cost to redo a bathroom?

Hello,
I am about to buy a property that has a really uninspiring small bathroom that I want to redo entirely. I am looking at a loo, sink, a heated tower rail, cubicle and doors and a power shower. We'd have to retile the room as well albeit not the whole room.
I was wondering how much such an understanding is likely to cost me.
I know it's a bit of a how long is a piece of string question but a ball park would be good.
Thank you!

I was shocked to get a quote for 8k fir a tiny bathroom! But after reading this it seems quite normal

Last bathroom I had done in 2016 cost £3k

Swapping out like for like in terms of fittings position will keep costs down, if you get a company like Wickes for example to fit it then it will cost more but might take less time (a friend has had hers done recently - 6k including fitting from Wickes, took 7 working days from start to finish). If you get a local fitter to come and quote (who knows a tiler!) then I reckon you could get it sorted for 5kish but that will involve a bit of project management from your end!
