I'm the middle of moving house stress, so just wanted to get a sense check on this: I booked a company for end of tenancy clean when I move out of rental property. Cleaning company asked where they should collect keys from, so I asked landlady which branch of estate agent I should leave keys at. She said that if cleaning company fetches keys, she will have to change the locks, so I should be at property to let them in and lock up myself when they're finished so they never have access to keys. I agreed. Then she asked me where I would be during the clean because someone needs to check they're cleaning everything as required (!) 😵💫 Firstly I don't have time to supervise their clean, and secondly they probably know more than I do about what needs to be done!
