Effective plant screening of a loft conversion

Has anyone effectively created privacy from a neighbour's loft conversion? Our neighbour has gone for a fully glass rear dormer wall and bright LED lighting. We have a 6m wide garden. So I think I'm going to need a 5m high tree that can cope with being trimmed to a lollipop shape and roots won't cause structural issues. I think it's a bit more of an ask than a normal pleached tree.

I'd appreciate any photos too

try a post in Gardening. Helpful things are soil type and aspect. Also evergreen or not. Sometimes it’s better to put climbers over a pergola and other wafty plants like bamboo in closer to your house to distract the eye or creat a canopy…
