App went in via broker, two days before the rate hike. More docs requested 6th Aug, valuation booked 12th, done yesterday and all ok. More questions coming through today about childcare costs (minimal, just some after-school club). We're visiting our purchase house today and every time we I try not to get too invested until this latest hurdle is done!

Mine came through v recently in 2.5 weeks, despite me being told it could take a long time. Fingers crossed for you!

Ahhh thanks all, hopefully we're nearly there! The habito tracker is useless tbh, doesn't really give us anything, and all the convos go between them and my husband. I'd forgotten how stressful house moves are in general, and last time we were cash buyers so didn't have to do any of this.

We've also historically been really crap on moving day and not ready at all, I think this time we might get packers in and shift it into storage early, is that what people normally do?

We get packers in the day before to box everything up, then spend the night cleaning when it’s clear. Takeaway, and then in the morning all you have to do is move the boxes!

We got our offer today!! It's is our 'forever' home so we fixed for ten years. Sooo relieved. Thanks all for your timescales. It took 2.5 weeks from the application going in to offer.
