Sorry i know it sounds like "how long is a piece of string"..but ive been on loads of blinds sites and none of them seem to mention costs or for that matter, bay windows.

i know wooden ones are expensive but just wondered if anyone on here has any experience?

Have a look at IKEA.They have wooden blinds in all colurs and they are REALLY cheap. We have got them in every room in the house-the range is called LINDMON.
PSSSTTT.Don't tell anyone else as all my friends think they must have cost a fortune!

lol, I have the argos ones, all over my house, people must think I spent a fortune of them...

Depends on whether your windows are standard size or no - if they are you can buy some from Ikea, etc. if you have to get them made to measure they are expensive - mine were £700 a few years ago - but I am hoping they will last forever!

I agree with grapefruitmoon it really depends on the size of your windows, if they are standard size then you're laughing. I'd love to have wooden blinds in my living room but the window is too wide. So I can't get standard blinds would have to get them specially made and I can't afford those

None of our windows are standard sizes as the people we bought the house from was a carpenter so he made all the windows himself. The IKEA blinds can be cut down to size without any problem.

I investigated these but found that off-the-peg blinds were too short for my bay. Can't remember the dimensions but our house is Victorian, so tall windows.
