Can you help me identify these door handles?

Does anyone know the name for these door handles?

They're currently on 1950s internal panel style doors. There's no internal mechanism and the handle itself is the catch/locking mechanism. Hope that makes sense.

I've tried looking at a few hardware sites and can't see anything similar.

Have attached a some pictures.

Thank you!

Have you tried removing one? There may be a manufacturers name inside on the casting.
They look a bit art deco to me, alternatively they've come off a car door!

They almost look like window catches. I've never seen anything like them before.

How about these, some other lovely ones on this site rebornbakelite.co.uk/product/black-bakelite-brolite-art-deco-odeon-lever-handles/

@TwoLeftSocksWithHoles I've not removed them, but will do. Interesting though that you say car doors- the house is made from repurposed bricks post WW2 bombings so I do wonder if the handles have been borrowed from elsewhere!

@BlueMongoose Nor me! The most similar thing I could find are catches for storm doors, but mainly US based. Someone below has posted to something similar though!

@Defiantlynot41 Oh that's brilliant, thank you!! How did you know where to look? Had you come across something similar before?

No, but have been renovating a period house and just got good at defining search terms!

they're a "lever handle on rose" but not a very nice one
