Exterior paint for listed house

Can anyone tell me what paint they used on the exterior woodwork of windows on an older house please?
It's only listed because of age, nothing special, just a tall Georgian terrace
I've used F&B colours inside but the whole street is white woodwork and cream walls on exterior so guess I'll need to comply

Our house is listed, in a Conservation area, and in a World Heritage Zone, so we have the worst of all worlds in terms of what we can and cannot do. We certainly have to replace like with like, which includes retaining the original external door and window frame colours. I would imagine yours is the same.

We've changed colours completely on the outside but got listed building consent - we probably wouldn't have applied for a different colour if we weren't doing some internal changes as well, but it was passed with no fuss.

Just used normal exterior paint - nothing special for the woodwork.

Thanks, I'm actually just going with white on the woodwork windows, just wondered the best paint to buy as I've never bought exterior paint before
I.e leyland, Dulux etc

Is it just the windows you are painting? Or the exterior of the house as well?

Is the wood actually old or a recent replacement?

With listed properties you usually want to go for breathable/traditional materials. I believe that for woodwork linseed paints have become popular for historic properties.

We used Dulux Weathershield. We did want a very light willow green but LB stipulated off white, unfortunately.

The windows are original sash Georgian and in a terrible condition. I'm having quotes to renovate them currently. Thanks for the advise
