Approval of a mortgage?

Hi there ,

just wondering if anyone knows… my boyfriend has now been through all the checks ect and has all gone well …. He’s at the stage of it being sent to the Underwriters. What is the Likelihood of it being accepted ? He’s buying it of his dad. Does this look good if it’s got to this stage ?

I don't think anyone is going to be able to answer that for you OP. It's good that the checks so far haven't picked up any problems but underwriters do a more thorough review. Now they're checking credit history, liabilities, evidence sent to show earnings etc.
