Hi,
I am hoping someone can help me on this and that this thread might help other people with the same issues.
I have had a mortgage application with Nationwide Building Society approved for some time now (4 months) and we are near to completing on the sale/purchase of our house. We are at the stage of just waiting for dates, due to the length of the chain there has been lots off issues with sorting dates.
As I will be relocating area I have had to make the decision that I will not be able to commute every day to my current work and have a had a job offer which is local to where my new house will be and it offers a higher salary and is a permanent role.
I recently accepted the position and have a signed contract. I am not due to start for about 1 months time but I am hoping that it won't impact our mortgage offer.
I did some research into this and I have seen people say that that there lender has not had an issue when this has happened to them. We also have a current mortgage with them so hoping that will minmise the issue.
When researching I found out that legally you have to inform your lenders on any changes, so I have spoken to our lenders through an online chat and they said it should not cause an issue. Currently I am waiting to hear back from our broker but was wondering if anyone had any experience with this sort of scenario?
We are hoping that we will complete before I start my new job, Any advice would really helpful as it's very stressful, thanks!
