After about 2 years of messing around it looks like our house renovation will start next month!! I'm so excited it's been a long time coming and now it's happening all in a hurry.
Thing is we now have a 3yo and a 3mo baby 😬 The kids and I will be moving out to my mums for the duration, thank god. I'm not worried about them being around, that would be impossible. But, I'm not sure how best to manage it with the 3yo in particular.
She's already struggling with having a new brother, now she'll be leaving home, hardly seeing daddy and changing nurseries for months. She'll just settle again and then we'll come back 'home' but it'll all be new and it won't be long till I'm back at work. I don't want to break her 😥 any tips from those who have gone before or are in the middle of it now?
Are there any story books about this kind of thing?
