What to do with post when renting for 6 months ?

We have set up a redirection for our property to my parents house, which will be about 30 miles away from us.

Am I right in thinking that we need to change our bank accounts, child trust fund and credit cards to our new temporary rented address for 5-6 months ?

Pretty obvious question but just wanted to ask what other renters do ???

child benefit need to know the new address as its a legal requirement- othewise it is less clear. We have told some of the finance ones but not others as its only for a short time that we are renting.

Yes I knew about child benefit as I will need to register the little one for nursery and school.

What finance ones have you told ?

only really the bank as we have to use a postcode for logging on. As we know we will be returning to our home soonish it seemed silly to redirect and then repeat it a short while later.
