Why are kitchen showrooms closed on Sundays!

Just that really…it’s the only day of the week I have time to do anything that doesn’t involve work and other commitments…I would imagine like a lot of people. I was hoping to spend the afternoon mooching around kitchen showrooms but am limited now to IKEA and B&Q. just moaning really…I’d been looking forward to this afternoon. Surely there are loads of missed sales opportunities by Sunday closing?!

I think the smaller / boutique shops can afford.to close as people will go out of their way to get there Monday to Sunday if they are serious shoppers. It probably deters casual browsers.

The top end vary round here sone are open others are not. Out of curiosity I checked 50% are open today, of the rest some don't even own on Monday.

It’s not even top end I’m after..magnet or Howdens would be great but both closed not to mention the independents also closed.
id class myself as semi- casual browser as in about 12 months away from actually looking for it to be fitted but we have work commenced on planning permission for works etc. I just want to see/feel stuff to inform my decision! It’s not quite the same browsing online brochures.
anyway…I’m just grumpy…nothing really to be done about it. I may be pleasantly surprised by IKEA and B&Q!
