When to start packing?!?

So when to start - and how?!
sold and offer accepted 28th April ish - mortgage all approved, paper work at the stage of enquiries. Surveys all done last week- so been told maybe end of June/mid July.
obviously don’t want to jinx anything but also want to be prepared! I’ve already sorted through the loft but think I should start somewhere in the house?
what have others done/what’s your plan? X

Don't do what I did last move and be still packing when the removals turn up 😳

Start now, at least clearing out so that when it comes to packing you're not sorting through at the same time.

Also label boxes with numbers and make a list of what's in each numbered box as well as what room it goes in

We started packing just before Easter whilst we were off with Covid because I like being organised and we wanted to be productive whilst we were both at home. We're now partially packed and living with boxes everywhere. We were on the verge of exchanging when our buyer pulled out this week, so we've now got to live with boxes a while longer and do viewings with them all stacked up.
