We're considering painting the original floorboards in our front room. They're currently sanded but I don't like the yellow colour. I think it would be less stressful (and cheaper) to give them a light sand with a hand sander then paint them ourselves rather than getting them sanded again.
If you have painted floorboards, what colour did you go for and are you happy with them? Also, how many coats did you do? I'd love to see pictures if you have them!
