Reducing guide price

I put my house on the market about a month ago and it was valued at £495K and £515K I decided to go with the lower one and I liked the EA. Properties are going really quickly but not mine I've only had a trickle of viewings and only one second viewing. Talking with the EA this morning we've decided to drop the My house price to £450K guide price. Has anyone had any success doing this ? Many thanks

Thank you all so useful to hear your feedback. I’ve got the estate agent to remove the photos of the steps and I’m getting new photos done by a photographer friend. My contract with the EA is until end of July so I’m going to sort out some things and fingers crossed I’ll get some interest.

I know that's a really nice village (we used to live in Bath) and it's a very pretty house - just needs a bit of a revamp- I think you will sell OP- it probably was a bit overpriced before
