Hello

Is there a way to search if there have been any neighbourly disputes?

Also if nearby land will end up getting built on?

Thanks all

Your solicitor will run searches for local planning issues and the vendor has to sign a declaration about any neighbour disputes.

You can check the local council planning portal yourself for planning applications/decisions.

Also check for a Local Plan which will designate potential areas of development well before any planning application is made.

@LIZS how do I check that?

Details would be on the local council website, also check for any county council level applications such as waste disposal sites.

Might also be described as a Neighbourhood Plan
