Our house went on the market a few weeks ago, we had two sessions of block viewings, and now have several offers. It’s going to best & final tomorrow. There’s one person who missed their slot at the weekend, but still wants to view before best & final. Annoyingly the agent is too busy to show them round today, so I’ll have to do the viewing. We’ve agreed on a time when my preschooler and disabled school age child will be out.
When we did the block bookings, the house was IMMACULATE. I shoved everything that wasn’t aesthetically pleasing into the car (eg cats bed, all surface clutter, toys, disabled child’s medical equipment, bins, family detritus…). At the moment the house is clean, fairly tidy, but no where near that standard. I need to hang a load of laundry up. There’s toys and junk that are tidied away but basically in piles around the place. I’m packing to go away this weekend so bags and clothes are out. I’ll do my best, but I won’t have time to tidy properly before the viewer comes as I’ve got the kids at home this morning.
Is that ok?
