(am finalizing house on thurs btw)

option a) get removals to collect stuff on weds (I have absolutely nothing packed loads of crap in the sheds/attic/everywhere still) and deliver it thurs afternoon in new house (is 60 miles away and last time house took from 11am till 4pm to pack up. and i'd done half of it - so will take longer this time - as H will not be about- will be just me 2 dogs and a toddler but otoh will be in and hopefully somewhere near sorted by next weekend.

option b) get removals to collect the following monday (removals won't hold our stuff over the w/e) and then move it all down on the tues - I will be there already - the other end DS can go to family as can the dogs so I can get everything in the rooms at least in peace.

option b would allow me to take some stuff down next w/e - kitchen bits/bedding/DS's toys etc etc (possibly) to get his room sorted out at least.

am not expecting any help what so ever from H after moving so then will have to come back up and sort out our old house. all before the 31st jan.

so what option do we think?

Move the stuff later so you have chance to hire skip and throw away all the stuff you don't need. So depressing to have it packed up and moved with you.
