Hello, my solicitor say they intend to close my file and ask if I want to request any documents from them. Is there anything I should request ? So far I received:

  • TR1 (signed by the seller)
  • Letter from the Land Registry to confirm I'm now registered, plus the lease title and the freehold title
  • The lease
  • Management pack and searches
Am I missing anything?😕

All your documents have to be kept by the solicitor for 7 years if memory serves or you can request a full copy. These days it could be on disc e.g..
Dont get stressed about this, just ask them how long they are professionally bound to keep relevant info and if not satisfied, ask for a full copy - it should be at nil cost.
