Hi all! I've been lurking around Mumsnet forums for a long time - always so helpful and this time I really need your recommendations!
I'm just in the process of buying a small 2-bed flat for myself in London. It's a first floor Victorian conversion, so there is the main external door which is shared with two other flats, and then my own apartment/flat door.
Provided the sale goes through, one of the first things I want to do is to replace is the flat/apartment door - the current one is one of those flimsy ones (not even a fire door), and I'll be living alone so want something sturdy and secure, especially as burglaries are common in the area.
Really struggling to find anything - all I can find are either proper external doors or internal ones that do not seem that solid.
Does anyone have any recommendations? Willing to spend on something that'll last (and keep me safe). Thanks so much!
