How would you fill these holes?

Hi,

We have a shower room on the top floor (extension) and there are these 2 holes in the tiles where the radiator is.

We just had a small leak on the ceiling in the bedroom below - we think it's because I didn't close the glass door properly while having a shower.

How can I fill these holes properly, to prevent any future leaks? There's quite a big hole / hollow part under the tile where the pipe goes in.

Any tips much appreciated !!!

That looks awful. Why weren't the pipes tiled in properly in the first place?

You can get pipe covers that have a base - it would cover the hole and you could seal round it?

Pipe covers then seal with silicone

That's an awful job. And the cracked tile?

shellbelle3 · 14/03/2022 14:14

If this was diy well done it's so hard to do ! Deffo the covers and sealant should work.
If this is a professional get them back to sort it !!

Google “radiator pipe rose”. They just clip into place. I didn’t silicone mine, they just stay in place.

I like the tiles, I bet the room looks great.

We bought this house and yes - there are lots of awful jobs like this that we need to fix !!

So no, not DIY.... I think I would have done it much better myself 🙈
