What paint colour would go with green kitchen units?

Thanks

I’ve just had my living Room done in a Dulux shade,, but it’s numbers not a colour as I choose it from the decorators shade card. It looks white in some lights and a pale greeny grey in others. My new blind, curtains and cushions are various shades of sage and it goes so well. Neutral, but with a bit of colour against the white woodwork but pulls the green in perfectly.

What shade of green are the units?

We went for Little Greene Invisible Green with white tiles and (eventually) white marble counter tops. It's a sort of dark olive green.

I've just realised I totally misread your post, doh. We just had plain white on the walls! Wanted something fresh. Plus we'd spent all our money on the green paint Grin

OP You need to tell us the name of the green paint colour! There's lot of difference between eg bottle green, blue-green, olive green, emerald green, mint green or sage green - impossible to say what would go with it if we don't know what colour the kitchen cabinets are. How dark is the green and does it have a yellow or blue leaning?

This is the colour

A quick Google shows people either go pale creams or white or go bold and match the wall colour to the units. You could have pale under the units and then a green above? My first thought, depending on the light in your kitchen, was to have a dark colour for the walls, maybe a dark blue.

HotChoc10 · 09/03/2022 10:42

I'd stick with a warm white/off white to be honest. Are those units gloss or is that just reflection from the spotlights?

My units are painted in windmill lane by Little Greene and the walls are slaked lime.

Coffeekam · 09/03/2022 11:20

Thanks.

I have a tester of slaked lime coming. The cupboards are Matt.

We have almost exactly the same colour kitchen and our walls are strong white by Farrow and Ball. It’s greyish but slightly mauve in some lights. Sounds nasty but it goes well.

WhatNoReally · 09/03/2022 22:13

A sort of pale lavender colour. Complements the green really well.

Dulux timeless.
