Not bad sized rooms - but to be honest, needs completely and I wouldn't like to take on that kitchen, or the carpets. You need to think about what it will cost to get all that looking right and if you could live with it the way it is for some time

Joash · 04/01/2008 00:35

should have said - needs completely decorating

I'm not mad on the outside - but I do like the rooms - number and size. Couldn't live with that fireplace though - and think that's just the tip of the iceberg....

There's a fair bit I don't like though - like the lift - thankfully we don't need anything like that - what on earth would you do with it?

No more than 235-240k.Prices are falling now and this year is a real buyers market. We offered 240 on a house that was on for 289 in November. It was turned down but guess what they phoned me 3x yesterday to see if we were still interested even though we have decided to wait and get a better deal.Looks a good size and condition although the interior is horrendous but that is easily remedied.

lalalonglegs · 04/01/2008 12:52

There's a lift? Bloody hell - that seems a bit much, it's only three floors. Still, kids would probably love it.

Don't go above £250k, look at nethouseprices.com to see what other houses have sold for on road. Tbh, the van and the deco suggest that it is owned by a builder who has done it up and will probably know how to cut corners - it looks as if it has surface pipework in the kitchen and that sort of thing. God only knows what is lurking under that bar...

No chance of your dream house coming up for sale? Not much chance of range cooker and sofa in this kitchen.

binklegoestoLondon · 04/01/2008 12:57

No more than £250k. Regarding the decor, does no-one observe the wisdom of Kirstie and Phil?? You have to see past the surface. VISUALISE

Good size rooms - looks like a lovely family home to me

You could also go to upmystreet.com for finding house prices.

NorthernLurker · 04/01/2008 15:29
