Well one of my new years resolotions was to move from where we are to Hampshire, so today i looked & found a house to rent in our price range in a great location BUT it may not be all it's cracked up to be once inside, to be honest though i am not a snob & it's not forever so hopefully fingers crossed it's all good

Have mixed emotions though, keep thinking if it is the one our lives will be changing drastically in the nest 1-2 months if not then back to square one.

Arrgghhhhhh

Good luck, I hope its what you want

I am calling the estate agents to arrange to look at a house tomorrow and everything about it on paper says it is our family home.

Well i had 2 appointments in the end, both were a bit disappointing in different ways.

1st one was ideal house, in fact lovely family home but it was to far out than we wanted to live so the location was wrong.

2nd one was 2 big & had no garden so a no no there, i did not know it had no garden otherwise would have not bothered to go & look in the 1st place.

Anyway came home disappointed then thinking maybe we should stay put, signed online & found another house.

This one soon, has garden & garage/drive just has 2 double bedrooms instead of 3, we can live with this as the kids share now so the bedroom was the least of our worries.

Am off to see on tuesday, so fingers crossed if all is as good as it looks we may be having new lifes by the end feb/beginning of march

Sorry did not reply before...

I have had a few house viewings that have been disappointing, it is such a waste of time!!!! I am trying to convince myself now that any viewings are a research exercise and I am getting closer to knowing what I do want and that is the house I viewed today

I went today and the house is what we term an absolute shitter, it is a lovely house (or rather shell of a house) and could be a lovely home. It is on a lovely road, it has a gated driveway (not huge or posh but lovely with having kids) and a big garden to the front and side of the house. Inside the wallpaper is peeling off the walls, there are damp patches everywhere it needs everything (rewiring, damp proof cource, timber treatment, double glazing, heating etc etc) but it is lovely!

Fingers crossed that the house on Tuesday ticks all your boxes, I am just keeping my fingers crossed my viewings come up trumps and everything falls into place.
