Watching as we’re trying to find this too! Painted samples at the weekend, quite like Dulux Summer Linen.

Dulux Rock Salt is off white with pink undertone, I liked this one too.

Great White by Farrow and a Ball is an off white with a pink undertone. I have it in my south facing bedroom and it can look quite pink but looks much more white in my north facing dressing room. You could get it colour matched in Dulux.

I've looked at dulux timeless but everyone saying quite yellow, jasmine white is quite lilac and walnut white a totally different colour. Also nutmeg too beige. I love wilkos paint but nothing is jumping out at me. Johnsons are a good price( I'm always changing colour schemes) but not much choice. There seems to be more choice with more expensive paints but I'm on a budget and need to paint full house out.

Deluxe almond white is nice. Looks "expensive" - best way I can describe it! I've seen it on new build walls and walls in a centuries old cottage and it looks lovely.

Dulux!

Almond white? Just painting my hall and stairs with it, for the second time.

I’ve just moved into a house which is painted everywhere in Dulux Almond White and it’s definitely warm but it also looks dirty to me

Whaaaaat? Rock Salt is practically blue! At least it looks that way in my bathroom.

I was going to suggest Timeless but you’ve nixed it. What about Crown Sail White?

HasaDigaEebowai · 08/02/2022 21:49

Another vote for F&B Great White. It’s white with a pink/lilac undertone and a black tint. It reads a warm pinkish white

FelicityBob · 08/02/2022 21:56

Also agree rock salt is blue/grey and cold

userxx · 08/02/2022 21:57

Timeless doesn't look yellow on my walls. Sounds like almond white might be what you're after.

TiddleTaddleTat · 08/02/2022 21:57

Not the brands you mentioned but I like slaked lime and slaked lime mid by little greene. Slightly pink/brown/warm grey undertones. You could get it colour matched to johnstones probably.

Oakdog · 08/02/2022 22:04

Wilkos Chalk White seems warm on my walls.

Thanks for all the replies. I've got dulux almond white on at the minute. I dont know if its changed colour over the last 3 years and got more yellow looking or it's my imagination since I've been at home more with lookdown.

Some good suggestions for shades of paint, I like the Dulux easy care paint, rather than the standard range, a little bit more expensive but much more wipeable if you are clumsy like me, I would recommend.

AchillesLastStand · 09/02/2022 07:59

Agree Rock Salt is definitely not pink. I have it in my downstairs hallways, dining room, and up the stairs and on the landing. A very large area. It looks like a barely there grey with cool undertones. I would never have picked it but moved into a house with a large open plan area and it works really well. It makes everywhere feel light and airy.

Bran21 · 09/02/2022 08:35

I loved dulux almond white in my old house but my living room is tiny and alot darker in this house so I think with the yellow tones doesnt look fresh.it looks warm though.

We have this in our bedroom and landing/staircase and it’s hard to find a reason to replace it. Hardwiring in the trade version, too.

Have a look at Craig & Rose 1827 paints. Homebase stock it. Chalky emulsion - £40 for 2.5ltr but they have beautiful colours. I have ‘Pipe Clay’ on some of my walls.
