I need help re floor covering in hallway

I have put this off for a year now as I can’t make my mind up. The contractor is coming round at weekend to measure up and price, so I need to decide.
Come in through the front door into a small lobby with light oak floor (Karndean). Through a door into the hall, which is really just a corridor. Very dark, no windows, white walls and ceiling. Rooms off this hall are bedroom (grey carpet) living room (Darker oak kardean) kitchen ( real wood floor slightly paler than living room) and bathroom (slate effect almost black Kardean).
Hall is currently a dark green office style (ie hardwearing) carpet. Desperate to replace this but don’t know whether to go for carpet or Kardean. And if KD what style/colour.
We have two dogs, who are walked daily and happily come in without wiping their feet. They also shed hair constantly.
I am constantly mopping and sweeping the lobby area because of muddy feet. The green carpet though, doesn’t show the dirt, but must be really filthy!!
Do I go for carpet again or Karndean?

Karndean.

I'd go for exactly the same colour karndean as the small lobby for practicality and for continuity. I think that will look best and be practical.
