Bath water is pale blue/green. Is this normal?

Hello, hope everyone is enjoying a fantastic Christmas I have just bought a new flat and noticed that when I fill the bath with water only, the water appears a very pale shade of blue/green as in the picture. Is this normal? I mainly used shower previously so very noob in this.

That looks normal to me

Mine looked like that when my bath was new. It doesn't seem like it now. Try the water in a different container if you think it is the water.

Yes, totally normal. It's how water looks when it's more than a few inches deep.

have you recently had plumbing work done, or a water softener?

Copper pipes will put a hint of green in the water, if they are new, have recently been cut or altered, or are totally clean, depending on water quality. If you are in a hard water area it will soon stop because they get coated with limescale on the inside. You may find it leaves a stain under the taps. Flash Bathroom Cleaner and similar products will remove it.

@PigletInABlanketJohn Eeek, I didn't read your message before writing the message above! No I haven't had any plumbing work or water softener. I doubt the previous owner has done any work either. We live in the hard water area.
