Flat roof or pitched roof

Some search on net has convinced me that flat roofs are bad but then why do people invest in them
Getting confused flat roof or sloped / pitched roof and what is the cost , longevity , pros and cons of these ?
Any advice would be very helpful

As previous posters have said - contact them; don't do anything behind their backs (I'm not suggesting that you would; this is just general advice.) If you work with them as much as you can, they'll be very useful.

When it comes to drawing up simple plans for planning permission/building regs, an architectural technician should be able to do all that's required - though I've known people who can draw and use a ruler accurately have plans approved by a council. A local technician will know all the local rules and probably will have worked with the local planners/building control people, and so understand how they think.
