Structural survey - still need Homebuyers?

I'm getting confused with surveys - hoping someone can clarify!

My mortgage company has stipulated that I need to get a structural survey done by a structural engineer. Should I still get a Homebuyer's Survey done too? Or will the same checks be done within the structural survey?

A full structural survey should cover everything a Homebuyers does in more depth. It's written differently, but you don't need both.

Agree - a full structural survey is the most detailed survey you can do so a homebuyers would not be required as well.

Just be aware that FSS can look very scary when you receive them because they point out things that could go wrong in future and things you need to look into further - but none of this means there is a problem.
Read through and speak to the surveyor who will be able to explain further.
