We're re-doing the bathroom. Due to a family of lazy so & so's, I want a sink like you have in hotels where the sink is sunk below the level of the unit and there is a lot of worktop (to use the kitchen word for it) around it where they can store all of their stuff. Yes, ideally they would put their face washes & whatever in the cupboard above or below the sink but it seems that that is never going to happen so let's work with what we have!
My problem is that all I can find are sinks which sit on the worktop which is what we have at the moment and seems to lead to umpteen dramas of "I can't find..." as it's hidden by the sink or freestanding sinks on pedestals with no surround.
All I want is a modest sized basin with a lot of surround. Surely it exists... or do I just need to move into a hotel?
