best doorbell - and wired or unwired?

we need a new doorbell.

Have electricians in at moment so could get a wired one. Previous wireless one was cheapy from b&Q and didn't last long.

Is there a good wireless one? Or a good wired one to recommend?

I had wireless ones, twice. Unless you try them regularly I found that the small battery in the bell push would have run down without us realising so it because rather useless. Thought the first one was maybe faulty, so bought another (different make) same problem. Replaced it with a convential, wired one with transformer off the mains. Works fine now.

Definitely wired. We have a ring one which is OK but it depends on how good your WiFi connection is
