Is much likely to come on now?

New to this - is much likely to come on the market now, this side of Christmas? Do you tend to get more in the new year, or not until Spring? Would be interested to hear experiences. There have been a few to look at the last few weeks but they have really dried up since the beginning of October.

I had the opposite worry
We were going to look in the New Year but have started now as the market seems to be very busy and I was worried it would go quiet after this surge

But it depends on area, property type. As mentioned in a thread I started, the market for small similar flats seems to be very busy.

There seems to be a fair bit coming on and taking longer to sell now, 2 weeks plus for most except the lovely places that still go within days or hours.

Asking prices still appear to be climbing but seeing a good number of reasonably quick reductions.

We had a sale fall through on ours at the weekend. (Only been under offer for 3 weeks so nothing major)
We have been umming and aahing about not putting it back on the market until January as we thought it would be quiet.
We had 4 viewings booked in within 2 hours. It's thrown us as we thought we'd have a couple of weeks to sort the house out again.
It's really hard to judge at the moment

There’s fuck all good on in the whole country, my Rightmove porn has dwindled considerably. Next big spike in February (according to friend who saw their marketing presentation).
