We've got a couple of rooflights like this . How do you clean the inside of them?

Not being facetious, but use a ladder or very tall steps. We have veluxes in a vaulted room and it's what we have to do. We didn't think about that when we had them installed, and one is over some stairs.

(the outside is even worse!)

a window cleaner?

Watching! I'm dreading ours needing to be done! I have 2 velux over stairs in a vaulted ceilings where difficult to reach from outside as you'd need to climb on the highest bit of the roof and 1 in bathroom ceiling up a light corridor (actually not too bad if I can swivel it around - so far they're still 'clean enough!'

It'll have to be a very tall ladder - I think a sponge on a stick is going to be called for.

the outside is self cleaning apparently...

We get the long ladders out, I send my oh up to clean them - I hate going up ladders. It's a bit of a faff and we only do it once a year in the Spring. The window cleaner does the outside.

I’ve recently discovered (15 years too late) that veluxes flip inside out for cleaning.

Not helpful to the OP but I wanted to spread this important information far and wide
