Where have the composite doors all gone?!

Has anyone managed to successfully order (and have delivered!) a composite door in the last 3-4 months? Mine were ordered almost 4 months ago and still no confirmed delivery date. Both of my existing doors are literally falling apart, I don’t think they’ll do another winter!

Ordered ours end of March - got fitted 3 September so not very promising!

I keep being told by the suppliers that its Brexit, but there is no chance in the forseeable future

Ok, that’s reassuring if only to know it’s not just me! Unbelievably frustrating though.

Still waiting too. Been promised it will before the coldest weather sets in.

Same been waiting 4 months and no date yet :(

We ordered ours in mid June and had them fitted a couple of weeks ago.

@mafted that’s when mine were ordered, so you know which supplier/manufacturer?

They’re stuck in containers with the glass, the quartz and marble worktops and the light fittings.

Ours were from Qualplas who I would thoroughly recommend.

Sorry to sound smug but mine was ordered three weeks ago and was fitted this week as part of my kitchen refit. I’m in the north-east and my builder works with a local supplier that makes the doors up themselves.

I was going to say I haven’t heard of any problems up here. Not far from MuttsNutts but west.

We're getting Solidor doors fitted 8 weeks from ordering them. They are made in the UK though which might help.

I'm in the SW and I'm due to have some composite doors fitted in November. I haven't heard of any issues but having said that, there was a big lead time (months) from getting the house measured up and the appointment to fit them.

We had a Solidor one fitted a couple of months ago too. About a 3 month wait, but that was as much the fitters too I think.

Our solidor is finally being fitted this week after a 4/5 month wait 🥳
