12pm was the cut off point for final offers. I realise we probably won't get it as there was apparently lots of interest and we have only offered asking price as can't afford more.
I've completely fallen in love with the house....reeealllyyy hope somehow we've got it. Today is going to drag! Please keep your fingers crossed for me

Definitely a chance. We had our offer accepted end of July for under asking price as that was all we could afford. If the EA is to be believed someone offered 6 figures more!

Our sellers valued us being chain free and flexible over the extra money.

@blacklilypad oh wow, great you managed to get it We are chain-free aswell/first time buyer with everything ready to go, I'm hoping that combined with the fact we offered asking price will make them choose us, however the seller owns multiple properties so Id have thought they're probably not in a rush and will just accept whatever is the highest offer. EA said loads of interest/offers. Haven't heard anything today, I can't stand the not knowing.

They called today-We didn't get it! Absolutely gutted...but obviously wasn't meant to be or so I keep telling myself.

What a shame!! Can you leave the offer with them in case the buyer pulls out? Long shot, I know.

They've got our details so I still have a teeny tiny bit of hope, you never know what might happen.
