Party Wall Agreement, Building Regs and Thames Water Permission

We are at the point where we need to decide between 4 quotes from builders. We have had plans drawn up by a technical architect which are pretty close to what we want but may need some tweaking. We have a design for a kitchen which again may need some tweaking.

We need to a. get a party wall agreement b. get permission from Thames Water wrt increasing the size of the water pipe coming into the house c. contact the council wrt building regulations – we don’t need to apply for planning permission. Can I ask a basic question please? Can we get the ball rolling now with the party wall agreement, permission from Thames Water and contacting the council? Many thanks.

Thames water yes.

Party wall agreement should detail the way the build will be done (a method statement) so you'll need the builder on board. Similar for building control i expect.

Talk to your neighbours though and show your plans.
