Wooden painted kitchens - looking for recommendations!

Am looking for a painted shaker style kitchen. Looking for wooden painted doors, and am open minded about material for the carcass. Happy for pine or oak!
Can anyone recommend a company that is reasonably priced and doesn’t have a huge wait time?

Handmade kitchens of Christchurch, Alfie and George and British Standard all do wooden kitchens but you have to organise painting yourself.

I think DIY kitchens do one too, not sure how painting works there.

Not sure about lead times but think they're all the most economical.

What is your budget?

I've had a couple kitchens from John Lewis of Hungerford. Really lovely, hard wearing (one is in a tenanted flat and looks good as new) and I'd use them again. But it was £25k for small galley kitchen including all appliances. If I could stretch I'd look at Harvey Jones or Neptune.

Everyone who's any good will have a long waiting time.

Handmade kitchens of Christchurch are not painted. So you have the time hassle and expense of getting it painted afterwards. It will add a good few grand to the cost

Look at plain english - dont know about wait times though.

Ours is DIY Kitchens, with solid oak painted shaker doors. Very happy with it - though I think the carcasses are chipboard rather than solid wood

We got ours from Handmade Kitchens of Christchurch. It did come unpainted, but didn't cost thousands to do because I did it myself 😄

Very pleased with both the quality of cabinets and my painting, lol, but I understand that currently there's a very long lead time.....

We've ordered a solid wood painted shaker from DIY Kitchens. We visited the showroom and were very impressed. Carcasses are Lancaster oak. It's being delivered in about 4 weeks.
