This sort of thing: www.blinds-2go.co.uk/roller-blinds/19436/oculus-bright-white.html?gclid=CjwKCAjwvuGJBhB1EiwACU1AibvN1p7WheGy13umROs28LWHqm1SNrOpfWaqo3whheg3jLIwLK_9VRoC9iQQAvD_BwE

Do they work? I can't really have heavy fabric blinds on the windows concerned and want to keep draughts out. Blidn and curtain company I normally use suggested these.

Have you seen the bit in the details :
Unique magic screen fabric allows you to see out without anyone being able to see in during the day
Please note: At night this is reversed so ensure that your night time privacy is protected.

Makes me think of net curtains.

We sell blinds at work, and the thermal ones are thick almost blackout fabric not mesh. It may help with privacy but not heat loss. It needs to be a "solid" fabric to have that property.

I have this kind of thermal blinds with a foil lining and I find they really do keep the heat in www.blinds-2go.co.uk/duo-blinds/24349/duoshade-chalk.html

Kamma89 · 11/09/2021 12:47

I have similar to RitaFires. They really do work, help to block out sound a tiny bit too

Thedogisdrivingmemad · 12/09/2021 19:09

Hmm I've ordered them and really hope they do work.
I am not concerned about night-time privacy as the room isn't overlooked at all - it really is about improving heat retention.

@Thedogisdrivingmemad please can you pop back and let us know what they are like after you’ve had them fitted. Keen to hear as I’m also interested but worried about the night time but as I am thinking for a landing above our stairs and don’t want to flash the neighbours at night. Thank you

Thedogisdrivingmemad · 18/09/2021 09:15

I will do.
