buying a house with allocated parking

I am trying to decide on buying a house that has allocated parking a few houses away.

I am expecting in December and have worries over loading/unloading the car with a new born and shopping etc in the dark, cold, rain, ice and so on.

Does anyone else have kids and park a distance from their house. how do you find it?

I probably wouldn’t
Apart from not being able to park close to your house what if you come home in the rain with multiple bags, kids and someone else has parked there?

I had this when I was young free and single and it was absolutely fine. I'd be less keen with kids.

Apart from trying to get kids, bags etc in the house, like the PP I'd be worried about the hassle of people parking in my space as it's not up a drive. People are so rude.
