Hello everyone , we are planning to redo our gravel driveway . Previous owner laid fabric membrane on top of the mud and put gravel. Now all the plants and grass poking through the membrane finding it hard to keep them clean . I have been thinking of removing the membrane and gravel , apply fine sand on top of the mud and put a new membrane. I have never done this before our first property. (we dont want to dig out much because some pipes or wires long the side of the driveway .)Please guide us.
