How much would you expect to pay to get a lock like this fitted?

Hope the picture comes out ok, it’s my first time trying to include one!

I’d like to get a keypad lock like this fitted on our wooden garden fence, could anyone tell me what you think would be a reasonable price to pay for someone to do this if I buy the lock myself?

I don’t even know who I would ask to do it, would I need a proper locksmith? A carpenter? A general handyman? Another trade that I probably don’t even know exists?

Thanks for any help

I fitted a lock like this myself using the instructions on the packet. I did need a drill. It wasn't easy, but I managed, which means a handy-person should find it no problem at all.

I’d have a go myself but I’ve got shoulder and back issues so no chance.

Can I ask roughly how long it took you? Just so I can get an idea of how many hours it would be reasonable to pay a handyperson for? I’ve recently been ripped off by a different kind of tradesman and just want to avoid paying over the odds again.

Thank you 😀

They should be able to fit that in less than half an hour so I'd expect to pay for an hour. Do you know anybody at all who could do it? When you actually look at the picture it's very simple isn't it?
