EDF feed in tariff - solar panels

We have just moved into a home with solar panels. The feed in tariff is with EDF. Transfer of ownership is now complete and we've just given the first quarterly reading. I know it can take up to 90 days for payment to our bank account but just wondered if anyone is with them and can tell me how much it actually tends to take?

We were with British Gas before (previous house) and the cheque used to arrive within the week.

I'm with EDF and they're very prompt with payment, usually takes 3-4 working days max. It's all automated and they send a reminder with a link to the website, enter the reading and payment happens automatically a few days later. Much better than my previous provider who took the full 90 days each time.

So helpful, thanks. I am very glad about it being a direct payment too, getting to a bank to pay in the cheque was a bit of a faff!

Definitely easier than a cheque! They send a BACS statement thing with the payment amount and date so you know what to expect too.
