Wren kitchens

Does anyone have recent experience of buying a Wren kitchen including their installation. Just looking at options!

I want a quartz worktop or granite but their choice doesn't seem that wide. Maybe a different supplier for the worktop?

I know there's an ancient thread about Wren but it's 2013 and companies can improve/ decline a lot in 8 years!

Any recent experiences much appreciated!

Our builder has said his recommendation would be Howdens but Wren are generally fine too. We'll have to see.

Thankfully sacked Wren off before ordering and got a full refund on the deposit. They're really not geared up to non-standard shaped rooms which led to an awful lot of dead space. Ours was part of a big renovation too, so building works could have been amended to fit the perfect kitchen.
Went with a local independent who worked out being cheaper (including installation) than the Wren (supply only) and there was no wasted space as cupboards were built to fit.x

Builders /fitters get a kick back from the howdens which is why so many push it

Yes, I know, also we had a poor experience with Howdens design-wise, so that was enough to put us off.

Just coming back to say our Wren delivery has gone well, one incorrect item which was easy to reorder and they replaced it by courier the next day (we used our own fitters).

I use Which to check reviews and Wren always always come bottom, by a long way, in the list of kitchen companies.

Wouldn't go anywhere near them.

They don't, I checked Which too and there were several brands lower then Wren overall, with the units scoring highly but the fitting scoring low (equal with some of the others).

we have a Wren kitchen, our builders installed it (in 2017). we also bought the ovens & induction cooker from them too, got a really good price.

we bought the mirror quartz worktop elsewhere.
